Summer 2012 Workshop

For teachers that cannot commute each day, we have reserved a block of hotel rooms at the Days Inn, Charlottesville. The grant will cover the full cost of the room for double occupancy. If you would prefer a single room, the grant will pay 1/2 of the cost and you are responsible for the other 1/2 (about $45 per night with taxes). The hotel will bill UVa for the lodging. You may have to present a credit card at check-in to cover incidental charges.

A modest meal stipend will also be available for those staying in hotels (the stipend will be about $15 per day).

After the workshop ends, you will file a travel reimbursement for your meals stipend. Technically, you will be a contractor of services from the University. Prior to the workshop you will need to be set up as a vendor. It's simple!
