Charlottesville Airport to Omni $12 each way. Dulles to Omni $80 one way, $130 return. For Dulles they will not pick up from an international flight that arrives later than 8 pm and domestic arriving later than 9 pm. They do not leave for Dulles before 8 am (possible exceptions for groups). They want at least 24 hour advance reservations made. This service in general is convenient and reliable. You may get a special rate upon mentioning the Cooling Flow Conference and/or the Omni Hotel (expecially if in a group).

From Charlottesville Airport:
Exit the airport and continue straight ahead on Airport Road for 0.8 miles. At the traffic light turn right onto Route 29 South. See directions from the North below.

From Washington Dulles Airport:
Exit Dulles on the Dulles access road, and take the first exit onto Route 28 South. At the intersection with Interstate 66, take I-66 West, then exit 43 at Gainesville onto Route 29 South. Driving distance is approximately 110 miles; driving time is approximately 2.0 to 2.5 hours depending on traffic. See directions from the North below.

From National Airport:
Exit the airport onto US-1 north, then exit onto Rte 110 north. Follow signs to I-66 west. Take I-66 West, then exit 43 at Gainesville onto Route 29 South. Driving distance is approximately 110 miles; driving time is approximately 2.0 to 2.5 hours depending on traffic. See directions from the North below.

From the North:
Take Route 29 South into Charlottesville to Route 250 Bypass East (to Richmond). Take Route 250 Bypass East to the 3rd stoplight (the intersection of Route 250 and McIntire Road). Turn right onto McIntire Road. Bear left at the first stoplight, then go through the 2nd stoplight, and take the 2nd left turn after the light to enter the Omni hotel and parking garage.

From the East or West:
Take I-64 to Exit #120 (Charlottesville, 5th Street Exit). From the East, turn right at the exit ramp; from the West, turn left at the exit ramp. Go about 3 miles on 5th Street Extended. At the third stoplight, the street name will change to Ridge St. Continue through the 5th stoplight (road name changes to McIntire Road). The Omni entrance is 1/2 block past the light on the right.

From the South:
Route 29 North to Charlottesville. This becomes Route 250 Bypass East (to Richmond) after the Washington, DC, exit off of Route 29. Take Route 250 Bypass East to the 3rd stoplight (the intersection of Route 250 and McIntire Road). Turn right onto McIntire Road. Bear left at the first stoplight, then go through the 2nd stoplight, and take the 2nd left turn after the light to enter the Omni hotel and parking garage.
