NICMASS at the MDM 1.3m Telescope

Click on the image above to see the NICMASS camera mounted at the cassegrain focus of the 1.3m telescope of the Michigan-Dartmouth-MIT Observatory at Kitt Peak. The same mounting configuration is used for the 2.4m telescope at this site. A warm ZnSe reimaging doublet relays the telescope focal plane image to the detector array while forming a small image of the telescope pupil at a cold stop just inside the dewar window.

This will take you back to the NICMASS camera page.
