The CorMASS spectrograph optical path originates at the slit
and is represented by the red ray traces. The slit-viewing optical
path, which reflects off the slit, is represented by the green rays. Moving
the flip mirror in or out of the spectrograph path selects which optical
train will be imaged onto the detector. The movable flip mirror mount blocks
the train not in use to prevent stray light.
