31-inch Upgrades
Telescope Control System (PC-TCS):
The 31-inch (0.8 meter) telescope at Fan Mountain has begun undergoing upgrades to convert the telescope from a photographic/photoelectric instrument to a computer driven telescope using IR Cameras. This upgrade and instrument project is funded through an NSF grant. Projects in the upgrade include: a drive system upgrade and an autoguider. The IR camera has recently been built and is commissioned.
