There are two versions of the thesis: color (pdf) and black-and-white (pdf). The color version has colored figures and links, and might be easier to read on the screen (or it might be too distracting). The two versions are indentical in all other respects. Warning: the PDF files are around 1 MB each, so they may take some time to download. Please let me know if you want the Latex source files for the thesis.
