Major Scale
    

The major scale, one of the diatonic scales, consists of diatonic intervals. The intervals in the major scale and the frequency ratios they correspond to are second (9:8), major third (5:4), fourth (4:3), fifth (3:2), major sixth (5:3), major seventh (15:8), and octave (2:1).
