A sphere centered about any arbitrary point whose radius is the Hubble length. The center of the Hubble sphere is not a ``center'' to the universe, because each point has its own Hubble sphere. The Hubble sphere approximately defines that portion of the universe which is observable from the specified point at a specified time.
