Performing photometry on WISE images of compact group galaxies

Morphologically classified galaxies in compact groups in a uniform manner
Natalie Butterfield (March 2010-August 2011)
Created an optical color-magnitude diagram of galaxies in compact groups

Outreach

I highly recommend attending a public night at one of our two local observatories.

Dark Skies, Bright Kids

I am an active member of Dark Skies, Bright Kids, an astronomy outreach group at UVa. We hold weekly "astronomy club" meetings at local elementary schools, returning to work with the same students for 8-10 weeks.

I am also one of the key members in piloting and developing the program for our portable planetarium.
