The instrumentation laboratory consists of a suite of seven rooms/areas.

• Vestibule / Conference Area

  Conference area with speakerphone and in-ceiling video projection. Videoconferencing also available.	Additional workspace in the vestibule including Sun Workstation and 1.5 terabyte 2MASS data server.

• Infrared Laboratory

  Full length view of infrared laboratory.	Instrument test area showing cryogenic test dewar with Cryotiger refrigerator and Labview PC.
  Software development and instrument test area including Polycom videoconference station for remote observing at Vatican Observatory.	Electronics and assembly workbenches.

• Semi-clean room

  Small room positively pressured with HEPA filtered ventilation and circulating air cleaner for parts storage and instrument assembly.

• Radio astronomy laboratories (2 rooms)

  A two-room suite dedicated to teaching radio instrumentation.	Suite includes fume hood, sink, and oven

• Reconfigurable working space

  200+ sq. ft. of space used as needed.	The portion of the room containing the flatbed printer will be curtained and reconfigured as clean space for the assembly of the Triplespec spectrograph.

• Storage area

  Shelving, LN2 storage, gaseous N2 storage, etc...
