About me
I am an assistant professor in the Astronomy Department at UVa working in theoretical astrophysics. I received my PhD from Cornell University with thesis advisor Ira Wasserman. I then held postdocs at CITA and KITP. At KITP, I was an NSF AAPF fellow, which emphasis research, teaching and outreach. I joined the UVa Astronomy Department in 2006, and am currently an Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellow.

Students
George Trammell (co-advised with Zhi-Yun Li) : upper atmospheres of extrasolar planets

Rolando Mendez (undergraduate): moons around extrasolar planets. See paper submitted to ApJ (ms.pdf).

I am looking for additional students at the moment, and have several research projects available for students to work on.
