We will again ask Chairs to submit a one-page description of their program, and will distribute these at the meeting. The aim is for each to raise one or two questions, talking for 2 minutes, allowing discussion to a total of 5 minutes. lunch (much thanks to the AAS for providing this and our bagels!) Afternoon: Topical sessions Research funding is a major concern. We have asked someone to come from NSF Astronomy to discuss the Senior Review, and plan to have a representative from NASA's Office of Space Science to talk with us about science funding for 2007 and 2008. We should be a small enough group to allow some discussion with these people, rather than simply having them give a presentation. There should also be time for other issues raised by Chairs -- let us know! 4:45pm: Final action items To include: time and place for next meeting (in 2008 at O'Hare, again on the same weekend as the Midwest Physics Chairs group?) 5pm: adjourn.
