This representative movie was made by D.R. Law using the best-fit Sgr model in an oblate (q = 0.9) Galactic potential found in Paper IV. Orange particles represent the Sgr dwarf and the bulge of the Milky Way Galaxy, blue and white particles represent the disk of the Galaxy. Note that this representation of the Milky Way is created for artistic purposes only, and while certain features (i.e. the number of arms, presence and orientation of the Galactic bar, etc.) have been chosen to correspond to current ideas of Milky Way structure this should not be mistaken for a scientifically accurate picture of the Milky Way itself. The yellow dot denotes the location of the Sun.
